Dr Vithanage worked in metropolitan and rural Victoria before he moved permanently to Gippsland in 2017. Before practicing in Yarragon, he was a busy practitioner in Morwell.
His areas of interest in medicine are chronic disease management, preventive medicine, men’s health, and minor skin cancer procedures.
Dr Vithanage has completed specialised training in joint injections, and provides them for patients with chronic knee and shoulder problems.
In his free time, Dr. Vithanage enjoys cricket, playing for the Yarragon cricket club since 2020.

Dr Yahampathge graduated in 2011, and has lived in Australia since 2013. After completing her Australian Medical Council exams, she moved to Gippsland permanently in 2017.
She obtained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2020.
Dr Yahampathge enjoys all areas of general practice, and has particular interests in children’s health, women’s health, weight management, and preventive health.
She is passionate about providing holistic care and working with her patients to achieve their health goals.
When not at work, Dr Yahampathge enjoys baking and traveling with her two young children and husband.

Dr Wijesinghe graduated from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2011. She practiced medicine in Sri Lanka before moving to Australia to complete a Master of Public Health degree at Australian Catholic University in Melbourne. Dr Wijesinghe has experience in general practice, emergency medicine, women’s health, and preventive care.

Dr Prabath Paranayapa completed his MBBS at University of Colombo in Sri Lanka in 2012.
Dr Prabath has spent the past 11 years working in the fields of emergency medicine, surgical, medical, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology and anaesthesia in Sri Lanka and at Latrobe Regional Hospital in Victoria, Australia. Additionally, Dr Prabath offers 7 years experience in primary care as a general practitioner.

Dr Vishaka Gunaratne graduated from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2011. She has worked as a medical practitioner in the specialities of general medicine, preventive health and emergency medicine. She completed her post graduate studies with a Master of Public Health from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She has had 12 years experience in General Practice before moving to Australia.
