Bulk Billing

We offer bulk billing on weekdays and weekends for eligible patients.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 16 and under
  • Health care card holders
  • Pensioners
  • DVA Card holders

Loch Street Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. This means that for most patients, Medicare will cover part of the fee, and the patient will pay a ‘gap’ out-of-pocket to cover the rest.

Fee Information

How do I pay for my telehealth appointment?

Reception will call prior to your appointment or immediately following your appointment. Payment is to be made over the phone via card. You will need a valid card number, card expiry date, and CVV (number on the back of the card) to complete the payment. Payment is processed through a secure system.

How do I get my rebate when paying over the phone?

Reception will require your BSB and account number to process the rebate promptly.

If a rebate is unable to be processed on the day, you will need to take your receipts to Medicare or claim the Medicare benefit online through MyGov or the Express Plus Medicare Mobile app. For more information on how to do so, please see the Services Australia website.

Please note that fees may be slightly different for Dr Dona Erandi.

For any further questions or assistance, please call our clinic on (03) 5634 2757 and speak to one of our friendly receptionists.

A dressing/procedure will apply in addition to any consultation fees. Your doctor will discuss fees for procedures with you. The following services will attract a $20 or $50 fee:

Card Payment Fees

A surcharge will be applied on top of the full payment for every card payment. (Surcharge percentage is displayed near the payment machines)

Repeat Scripts

Repeat scripts require an appointment or phone consult. Bookings can be made online or by calling reception.

Forms & Reports

Fees apply when doctors complete reports and forms.

Examples include:

  • Income protection insurance Reports
  • Superannuation reports and forms
  • Pre-employment medical reports
  • VicRoads medical reports

PLEASE NOTE: There is no Medicare rebate for the completion of reports and forms.

Non-Medicare Services

Consultations under Workcover and TAC will be charged privately and there is no rebate from Medicare for these services.

Medicare Rebates

Most face to face and telehealth consultations will be eligible for a Medicare rebate, meaning that you will receive a refund from Medicare for part of the consult fee. We can submit your Medicare rebate claim when you make your payment, and your rebate will be sent to the bank account you have nominated with Medicare. If there are any issues with your refund, please contact us. You may need to visit a Medicare office to have your issue addressed.
